Life Transitions
When I first started seeing clients, my primary population was college students. I would work with them on how to navigate life transitions that basically no one ever talked about or if they did, it often left my clients feeling lost, confused, and hopeless. I found that a lot of parents I work with also struggled with this too. They would hear from everyone that it will be fine, but deep down the constant worry and fear seemed to be eating them alive.
This is where I work to help you identify what is in your control and collaborate with you on how you want this transition to go, not what everyone else told you it would be. We work on honing in on some of the skills you already have along with discovering what is really happening for you that is related to these life transitions. Once we do that we are able to figure out what next steps look like for you and how to create a healthy support system for these transitions.
